​Why MY Big Blue?

 MY Big Blue has been designed to provide divers with all the important requirements of a live aboard safari boat without the unnecessary and normally unused trimmings such as hot tubs and room TV's, our emphasis is on your comfort and safety. Our first consideration is space, space to eat, space to sleep, space to shower and of course space to dive. Big Blue offers all these in trumps. She is a massive 38m long and 7m wide which would normally mean you could expect the license for groups to be 30 to 40 divers! Big Blue offers a maximum of 24 spaces on board.
 Diving on MY Big Blue is also different, there would be no point in giving you lots of space on the boat to then throw you in the water as a group of 24 divers! Everything is at a relaxed no rush pace, the divers are set in to four groups of up to six and sent out at intervals. Of course if you are a bigger group and want to dive together that is also fine. What's the rush to get in, we have all day, take your time and enjoy uncrowded dives! We often operate a 'pools open' approach too, if we are at a suitable site and will be there for the day, then you can choose when you dive. Subject to being suitably qualified and experienced, you will be given a full and thorough dive and safety briefing for the site and a provided with surface cover leaving you free to explore at your own pace.
When you are not diving MY Big Blue offers space to relax in the sun on the upper deck, socialise on the lounge deck either inside with movies and music or outside in the round with hot or cold drinks and snacks; or back in the spacious air conditioned cabins. Each cabin has a large modern en suite bathroom with walk in shower, basin and wc. The cabin is fully air conditioned with independently controlled individual units. The lower deck cabins are accessed through the restaurant and at the opposite end of the corridor MY Big Blue has a full size door emergency door with access to the bow deck. The emergency lighting is provided to show the escape route.
Meals on board are served in the air conditioned restaurant on the main deck. The seating is on individual dining chairs set around 5 large marble tables. MY Big Blue offers 3 buffet style sumptuous meals a day served around the diving schedule, we are able to cater for most dietary needs when given advanced notice.
In addition to the luxury standard cabins, MY Big Blue has 2 accessible cabins on the main deck with full wheelchair access around the deck and in the cabin. We are happy to welcome all divers on board.
Ramped access, widen passageways, sliding doors, larger floor space all provide easier access to wheelchair users.
